Things have been heating up in the Motion plug-in space since Noise Industries released its FX Factory products last fall (By the way, with the latest release of Final Cut Pro, version 5.1.2, FxPlug plugins will work with it as well!) . Latest to the party is another product from Idustrial Revolution (no, that's not a typo, there's no "n") who recently came out with the great Volumetrix plugin. Cool thing is, they just released 4 new ones in beta, and they are all completely free. I've been playing with them, they work and they are cool - especially MultiSpace, you've got to give it a try - It lets you animate 2 planes in 3D space in either Motion or FCP - complete with intersections - and in real time, it's quite fun to work with.

To get them, you first have to have the latest version of FxFactory, version 1.03, which you can get here. The basic version is free. Then, the only place to get the plugins currently (since they are still in beta) is on the fxplugfx.com forum. Then go to the second forum category called "FxPlug Plugins that use FxFactory", click the first forum "IR Freebie Pack 1 Beta Testers", then click the first thread.

Try them out, give IR feedback in the forum if you find any bugs, and let me know what you think of them as well.
