MacBreak Studio: Publishing Motion 5 Templates to FCP X

On this week's MacBreak Studio, I show host Steve Martin how to design a quick title in Motion 5 and publish it for use in Final Cut Pro X. Motion 5 really is a dream fx tool for FCP X editors.

Thank you for sharing this tutorial. I'm going to try my own project using Final Cut Pro X.

am trying to create title in motion 5.0.5, but after saved them in new category i open them in final cut x (10.0.5) and just see a red icon, same thing happen if i just open a title in fcx and try to "open a copy in motion", without doing anything, just opening and saving but still cannot use in final cut.
any help?. https://www.dropbox.com/s/j0lnvoquh1d7xo2/Schermata%2011-2456247%20alle%2007.26.32.png

Not sure what the issue is, David - are you starting with a Motion Title project? Are you going through the Publish process? Does the new title appear in User/Motion Templates/Titles?
